Large custom home near the Narrows Suspension Bridge on Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA

This is a very nice cable railing job installed using our standard aluminum railing package and 1/8" stainless cable to enhance the look of the system. The color of the railings matches the house and the cables are almost invisible.

Note the cranes in the right photo just below. They are building the caissons for the new suspension bridge over the Tacoma Narrows in fall of 2003. This is the one that was called "Galloping Gertie" that fell in a wind storm in 1940 only 4 months after it was built and is commonly seen in old news reels.

Pickets were used in a couple of areas as cable "Spreaders" to keep the cable together in longer runs where we did not want to add a post.
