Style shown is the "Intermittent Top Rail" as you can see by the posts extending up through the top rail. This style had a nice look and fitted well with the building. Special aluminum nutplates were used behind the fascia and stainless bolts were installed from the outside. Special white plastic plugs were used to cover the holes bored through the bottom of the posts. Owners home was also done some time later.
