A large remodel in Seattle

This was a lot of railing on three different levels of the home under a serious remodeling. All of the posts were installed on a stub wall using shorter posts and less cable than normal. Some were on a higher stub wall with no cable at all where more privacy was wanted and the view was diminished by adjacent homes. The top rail continued to flow nicely at the same level as you can see by the photos. At time of photos the project was nearing completion on the exterior with lots to do on the inside yet. Cable runs were planned to make installation and adjusting as easy as possible.

We have set photos in a reduced size to fit two side by side. In most cases if they have a colored (usually blue, depends on your settings) border you can click on any photo to take you to a larger version to see more detail. This is our normal aluminum package that has been shortened to fit on top of a stub wall of different heights. As you can see this system has several turns and the cable runs through most of the turns with planned start and stop points for the cable.

The views from this site are very nice of the Seattle area looking south towards the Space Needle, to the right towards Puget Sound and to the left toward the Cascade Mountains. Mt. Rainier was playing hide and seek on this day otherwise you could have seen the mountain clearly behind the Space Needle.
