The standard code railing height on residential units is 36" as was on this project. Glass was used (1/4" clear tempered) which looks nice, doesn't obstruct views and serves as a wind break to be able to enjoy the deck on those cooler days. Owner has a beautiful view to the north and west to the Olympics. Will add a photo through the glass of the larger deck toward the mountains with the next good day.
