The drawing below is to assist you in determining the lengths of cable you need for your project. Three (3) of
the basic end fittings are shown along with how we measure for shop fabrication to give you the lengths you
want. Remember to always add a little to the measurements you take to allow enough of the threaded end to to
protrude through the post. That little addition for enough threads showing is easy to forget.
On the drawing the inner dimension lines show the actual measurements you took and the outer lines show the
finished length we will build for you which include the small addition such as 1/2" per threaded end to allow
for washers, nuts, etc. You will need to send this in with clear legible cable lengths if you order completely
finished lengths.
