This is another of our cable railing packages installed by the homeowners on a recent deck remodel
on two sides of the house including three stairways. We worked with them to layout the cable usage in an effort to
keep the use of fittings to a minimum to reduce costs. This was accompolished by running the cable as far
as possible on each side of the house using our stainless sleeve post inserts in the angled areas. Note in
the photos how the cable was run around corners. The dark stairway photo will be retaken soon in better
light to show how we went up one stairway around two 90 degree corners and down the other stairway with one run
of cable. The end results are striking! The wood looks very natural in this setting and there is little
obstruction to the beautiful view of Hood Canal and the snow capped mountains.

Note that a bottom rail was not used which resulted in very clean look. Post centers were in the 4-1/2 ft.
range and 10 cables were used at approx. 3" spacing to create the look you see here.
