| This house shows the most extensive railing kit we have sold to date. Homeowner did a
great job on a difficult site with top and side mounted posts using glass and pickets. This photo is only a
small part of the project. | 13 |
 |
| A double deck with octagonal profile on two levels and with railings around the interior pool. Great view of the
sound towards Steilacoom, WA and the 2001 earthquake epicenter where we were when the quake hit while installing
glass on another project. Used pickets on the exterior stairs and glass on the deck. |

 |
| Another waterfront home. This one was on Day Island and included an upper deck with glass and a gate, a bulkhead with a
glass railing on top of it plus a gate to the beach. One of the photos shows the epicenter of the 2001 quake between Anderson Island
and the Nisqually Delta. We were installing glass when the quake hit. |

 |
| A continuous top rail system in brown with glass on a high cantilevered deck (was a long way to the ground on a steep
hillside) with an aluminum diamond plate deck surface. One of the more interesting photos of a deck. Job was on Mercer Island
near Seattle.

| A pencil line drawing (size=69KB) of three styles or brands of side mounted base configurations
shown to scale on a 2 x 10 rim joist with 1-1/2" deck material. "A" is a 1-1/2" post, "B" is a 2-3/8" post
and "C" is a 2-1/2" post showing a separate mounting bracket.
These depend on brand wanted and other considerations that need to be discussed prior to any final
decision. | 22 | |
| A pencil line drawing (size=90KB) of a typical top mounted railing post. | 23 | |
| A page showing post, top rail and some anchoring clip details for you to understand the various products available for your deck and how it all fits together. | 24 |

| This page shows a side mounted continuous top rail system in brown on a very well built deck in Clyde Hill, WA just west of
downtown Bellevue. Deck surface is iron wood that has been sealed and presents a very luxurious finished look to the deck addition
with the brown railing framing the deck and clear glass accenting the overall look.

| This page shows a system around a pool in Gig Harbor, WA. The railing is the heaviest we sell, height was 48 inches for code and the post spacing was 48 inches. Gates were customized to match the necessary details. Picket would have looked very nice too in place of the glass, but you wouldn't have had the windbreak that was needed on this site.

| This photo shows a color sample sheet from one of our suppliers. It is for the larger flat top system as seen in Photos #16, 19, 20, 21, 27and 28. A round top is also available as seen in the stairs on #20 and in the parts on the right side of photo #24.

| This photo shows kit installed by the homeowner. It is a side mounted system installed around the roof of an attached garage which made very good use of the space. They ended up with a great place for two young children and the family pet to play and had a very nice place to dine out in style with a view of the Sound in Tacoma, WA just below the narrows. One photo is towards Fox Island with the Olympic Mountains in the background and the other toward Steilacoom and more islands. It is the same large top rail system as seen in Photos #16, 19, 20, 21, 27and 28 and that used in our cable systems. A round top is also available as seen in the stairs on #20 and in the parts on the right side of photo #24.

| This job was in Steilacoom, WA and was a large remodel a part of which was a waterproof deck/car port roof and the railing system shown here. The use of trellis panels on the carport roof and end of the long deck combined with the picket railing system resulted in a very nice finished job. Owner is very happy.
| 31 |
 |
| This is another of our kits installed by the homeowner. He removed the old deck surface and railings and went back a new surface with the aluminum railings. With the accents, flowers, etc. it is a very nice looking job. The owner is very happy with the finished project.

 |
| This style of picket system was selected since there had been an earlier addition using the same brand
and the homeowner wanted to keep things the same. We added the standard posts and used the supporting columns for
the canopy to fasten the top and bottom horizontals as needed. This can be done with existing wooden columns also.
Note the stairway landing and turn. The post on the inside of the turn has to be extra tall to adjust for riser postition.
It is best to keep the fall-line of the toes of the upper stair section to hit the post at approx. 36" above the
deck to make the transition down the stairs.

 |
| This was a kit installed by the homeowner surrounding a pool near Bellevue, WA done in late summer of 2002.
Special attention was given to using a simple to install system that would meet local building codes. Homeowner did
a nice job.

 |
| This is a railing system that we are bidding on a condo in Hawaii as of 12/02. We believe it is the
best for the application for several reasons that we have discussed with the owners. Photo inserted for his use.
