This project was done with the gray vinyl mentioned in this web site and the home owner chose glass railings to complement that addition. He is near salt water and needed a way to view the area and have a way to break the wind a little to use the deck during the evenings and the colder times of the year.

All of his living area under the deck is dry and useable year round. Standard decking surface material such as treated 2 x 6's especially on a second story deck allows moisture to pass through and onto the area below.
